Truth

I was sitting here thinking just now, about churches, we went to a really nice little church this morning that preached Gods word and only Gods word. And the people were genuine, no false pretenses just to get you in the church doors, make you a member and get your tithes. Witch makes me wonder, are we willing to be the minority for Jesus, for if we are preaching the truth sad to say, we will be asked to leave some churches, we will not have friends, for they will opt to stay were it is comfortable and there is a false sense of security. I have learned from experience that I would rather be someone who loves Jesus and his word and lives for truth then a pew sitter with a false sense of security. Genuine faith is going to ask you to give some things up, Jesus was not just killed for our sins, he was killed because he spoke the truth. He was different, he did not dress fancy or go to a big church or have fancy programs, he was a simple man, who probably would be asked to leave most churches , because he spoke the truth and did not dress the part of a Christian. So my question in all this is, would you be willing to leave your church, your friends your so called security, for the simple and unbridled truth of God. For he is asking it of us, the problem is we are just not listing.
